Pedigree's Anna Moore doll was modeled after the UK Olympic Champion, ANN MOORE . Ann Moore, born August 20, 1950 in Birmingham, England, was a member of the Great Britain Equestrian Team that competed at the 1972 Munich Olympics. Moore won the silver medal in individual mixed jumping, and was the last UK rider to win an Olympic riding medal until the spectacular gold medal winning show jumping performance of the UK Equestrian Team at the 2012 London Olympics. Fitting, eh?

Ann Moore is credited as the author of the Anna Moore & The Champions brochures, which provided realistic information and advice regarding riding and horsemanship for young riders.
